Palhoça

Palhoça is a municipality in Santa Catarina, Brazil. It is a suburb located approximately fourteen kilometers from Florianópolis, the state capital. It has approximately 120.346 inhabitants.

Palhoça has some industries such as textiles, and food processing, but the majority of the population works in Florianópolis. Palhoça also has some beautiful beaches, such as Guarda do Embaú and Pinheira.Guarda do Embau is known as a primer surf spot in he world.
